Rebekah has always had a very different relationship with Elijah then she has with the rest of her brothers. Things between them are very soft and caring. He’s always treated her as an equal.He is being a tutor of sorts to Bekah.
As vampires, Rebekah is looking to Elijah for advice. She holds his opinions on things very highly. Because he’s the honest one, the moral one. We’ve seen in the show that she usually follows his instructions when he has a plan about something. There’s just such an intricate tie that binds them together. Not only in their love for each other but in their love for Niklaus. The three of them are just so irreversibly linked to one another.
