This love is difficult, but it’s real. Don’t be afraid. We’ll make it out of this mess. It’s a love story. Baby, just say yes.
Thank you for your honesty,
Klaus

A moment happened right here when I very nearly fell off the couch (which I'd been sitting on the edge of for the entire episode). Caroline quickly shut Klaus down when he attempted to express condolences about her father, so instead he went on to compliment how she looked and how good of a dancer she was. When she casually replied that she had experience with ballroom dancing because she's Miss Mystic Falls, he just replied quietly, "I know." You guyssss!!! How did those two words mean so much?? How is KLAUS my favorite character all of a sudden? How did this awful monster become a romantic hero? Oh I know why: Caroline. She's just that amazing. And Klaus. And Caroline. And Klaus. And Caroline. Hold on, do I need to start a dozen Tumblrs now? Isn't that the law?
It was just straight-up charming how Klaus attempted to talk to Caroline all night. She couldn't have been less interested, but it didn't really stop him.
We all knew Caroline would have nothing but a good influence on Klaus, but these scenes (during which, it's worth repeating, Caroline was NOT into him) actually showed him becoming human right before our eyes. Like he was realizing that if he wants good things in life he actually has to earn them, and even better, it seemed like he was willing to do just that.

“How could you be so stupid?” Elena yelled, disgusted in what she had just discovered.
“I’m the one who is stupid?” Caroline asked, her blood rushing.
“Do you not remember what he’s done? He has killed people that I love!”
“He also saved me, or did you forget that?” Caroline nearly spat.
“Saved you!? From what? Himself?! You’re so much smarter than this Caroline. How could you be fooled by his lies?” Elena stared at her friend as if she were a stranger.
“Don’t try to act like you know who he is. You know nothing about him, so you have no right to make any kind of assumptions.”
“Assumptions?!” Elena screamed. “He KILLED my aunt! He’s trying to kill Stefan! I am NOT assuming anything. I’m stating facts.”
“What about Damon?” Caroline asked.
“What about him?”
“You love him. You kissed him, and I know that the thought of being with him has crossed your mind.”
“What’s your point Caroline?”
“He hurt me. He bit me and he fed off of me, over and over again. I was his toy. He literally controlled me and every move I made, like I didn’t deserve to have any kind of choice. He turned vicki - which resulted in her death, turned and slept with your mother, killed jeremy without knowing that he was wearing that ring, tried to kill me, force fed you his blood the night we all knew you were going to die yet you are still in love with him.”
“It’s different Caroline…he’s changed.” Elena whispered, tears sliding down each of her cheeks.
“Elena, he’s still the same Damon. He’s still impulsive and he’s still capable of violence. It’s because you that he doesn’t act on it. He doesn’t want to disappoint you. Love…it changes everything. It’s changed him, it’s changed Klaus. I am aware of what Klaus has done, just like you’re aware of what Damon has. But the way he is around me…that’s who I love, not the monster you seem to think he is. And I want to be with him for everything he’s done right, not for things he did wrong.”

Kako bi bilo divno da nešto ovakvo bude u seriji ^^
“What do you mean I can’t come? I may not be an Original but I’m strong, and I’m smart.”
“She does have a point, Nik,” Kol said, smiling at Caroline. He’d been doing this a lot lately, siding with Caroline just to get on his brother’s nerves.
Klaus glared at his brother, wanting more than ever to shoot him in the face with his glock. It wouldn’t kill him but it sure would hurt like a motherfucker. “I said no, and I meant it, Caroline. It’s too dangerous for you. This isn’t Mystic Falls. This is a big city with a lot of dangerous people down here.”
Caroline huffed and stormed off to the bathroom, slamming the door. Klaus hated that he was upsetting her, but he felt like he was the only one worried about her well being.
Kol ran a hand through his hair as he watched her walk away. He did care about her, too, and didn’t like seeing her upset. “Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad, to include her.”
Klaus shook his head again, cocking his gun. “Are you ready or am I going to have to run this raid myself?”
One second they were standing there, laughing and talking and then the next he was screaming out in pain. Caroline was terrified, she had no idea what was going on. But she had to get him out of the party fast.
“Klaus, what’s wrong?” she asked once they were outside. He dropped to the ground and doubled over.
“Esther…the bond…” he croaked out.
The color drained from Caroline’s face. They thought that was over, that they had gotten out of it, but something had gone wrong. Caroline watched as Klaus’s skin began to turn ashy gray color.
“No!” Caroline yelled.
Klaus rolled onto his back. He raised his hand to her face, cupping her cheek in his palm. Tears began to well in her eyes. She thought of the past few weeks with him, ever since the ball. The hanging out, the party crashing, the inside jokes. Klaus had put up such a fight to get her to fall for him, but she had kept resisting.
“Caroline, I—” he faltered, the pain in his chest preventing him from speaking. The tears spilled over Caroline’s eyes. As she watched his breathing become more and more shallow. No matter how much she kept denying it, she had been falling. So quickly and easily it was like nothing. She looked into his eyes and as the light began to fade and saw everything that they would never do together. They never would take those trips to Rome or Paris or Tokyo. She would never get to tease him anymore about his drawings or roll her eyes when he tried to do something romantic. They would never laugh together or argue again. He would never kiss her or touch her.
Caroline couldn’t take it, her undead heart clenched inside her chest as she sobbed, watching him die.
“Klaus,” she cried, “please, please don’t leave me.”
Klaus’s hand dropped away from her cheek.
“Caroline I—,” he grasped her hand tightly, using the last bit of strength he had. “There may be a way,” he whispered as his eyes closed
